Dear all,
1. You may use this tool http://www.thefreedictionary.com/ to help you with your 1000 Vocabulary book and any difficult words that you may come across.
2. Take a look at this video from Schoolhouse Rock on Adverbs.
3. I am glad to see that most of you are intrigued with our Unit 3 topic on "Dinosaurs and Fossils". I have included some websites and videos here for you to embark on a self-discovery journey. Have fun browsing them and do share with the class on what you have found out.
- Enchanted learning - http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/dinosaurs/
- BBC – Making Fossils - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/prehistoric_life/dinosaurs/making_fossils/
- BBC - Where to bury for fossilation to take place - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/prehistoric_life/dinosaurs/burying_bodies/
Take note : pterodactyles aint dinosaurs! And marine reptiles aint dinosaurs either.
4. Some more interesting facts of the marbled crayfish that we have discussed in class. It is the only crayfish in existence to be able to clone itself to reproduce. By the way, they are all females.
This is also very much in line with our Science theme for Term 2 - Cycles. Enjoy!
